Vision For Ministry
The Family Worship Center has a vision for growth in ministry. We believe God has tasked us with the responsibility of sharing the message of His love and grace.
More than that, we are to demonstrate His love and grace as we reach out in care and concern toward others. All of us together have a challenge to serve God
and serve one another in ministry. The Family Worship Center is committed to expansion of ministry by exalting Christ, building relationships,
ministering to needs and obeying God’s will.
Our Purpose
Purpose is very important for individuals, organizations and, of course, churches. Having a purpose means we understand the reason for our existence.
The Bible teaches that there are five basic purposes for any church.
At the Family Worship Center we use the acronym “WIDE” as an easy way to remember our purpose:
Worship
Involvment (fellowship/minstry)
Discipleship
Evangelism
Our purpose as a church is summed up in this statement:
To bring about Christ likeness in individuals by leading them to a personal relationship with Christ (evangelism),
encouraging them toward personal and spiritual maturity (discipleship), providing fellowship and opportunity for ministry (involvement)
and by honoring God personally and corporately in every aspect of life (worship).”
